Description:
Offered is an NGC Ancients–certified Constans AE4 (BI Nummus), struck AD 337–350 during the rule of Constans, the youngest son of Constantine the Great. This small late-Roman bronze coin—often with traces of silvering due to its BI (billon) composition—features Constans’ imperial bust on the obverse. The reverse typically depicts Victory, wreaths, or military symbols, motifs widely used throughout the Constantinian dynasty to emphasize unity, stability, and imperial authority.

AE4 nummi were the smallest circulating bronze coins of the era and saw extensive daily use across the empire. NGC Ancient certification guarantees authenticity and proper attribution, making this an excellent and affordable piece of late Roman history.
